the motor registration people opened the bonnet and counted 6 spark plug leads
We bought our FX in 2008 from a family in Mt Barker, SA. It had been used as a daily run-around on full registration. We then went to register it into our name and found the previous owner had registered her as a 4 cylinder, 1947, red wheels, and red interior. Only after a close inspection by the motor registration people, who opened the bonnet and counted 6 spark plug leads, was that changed.
We have spent many years being members of the 48 FJ Holden Club of SA, and enjoyed lots of day trips and weekends away in her.
